Laney Webber loves stories. She has worked as a librarian, a used book store clerk, and an adult ed creative writing teacher. All that makes her sounds very bookish and she is, but she’s also worked in a retail stockroom, a greenhouse, an elementary school cafeteria, and a shoe distribution plant.
She lives in Vermont with her wife, a cat named Rudy Valentino, and a rescue dog named Gracie. When Laney isn’t doing something bookish, she likes to camp and explore New England.
Laney is a graduate of the Golden Crown Literary Society Writing Academy. She is a member of Romance Writers of America, The League of Vermont Writers and the Golden Crown Literary Society.
Her story, Bat Girl was published in Girls Next Door a lesbian romance anthology, edited by Sandy Lowe and Stacia Seaman (2017 Bold Strokes Books).
Her first lesbian romance novel, A Chapter on Love, a contemporary romance set in New England, is scheduled for release from Bold Strokes Books in 2019.
